LAcarGUY owner Mike Sullivan and Fisker Santa Monica General Manager Kelly Sullivan just returned from test driving the Fisker Karma for the first time, and they were both blown away. “It drives every bit as good as it looks!” said Mike.

The test drive was part of Fisker’s first dealer meeting and was led by Fisker co-founders Henrik Fisker and Bernhard Koehler. Everyone at the meeting was obviously very excited about this new vehicle. During the test drive, the Karmas torque provided by the electric engine was especially impressive (Karma has more torque then the 16v Buggati!). Performance and beauty are only part of the equation with the Karma, it also pulls down 67 mpg and with careful driving is capable of 100 mpg! Mike described the handling as being like riding in a “slot car”, with “no body roll at all! The handling was even better than I expected”

Both were blown away with the interior details as well. During the business meeting, each designer talked passionately about their role in designing the interior, whether it was the designer responsible for the 10” LCD touch screen, or the eco seats or the dash made from recycled wood.
