2019 Grades of Green Impact-A-Thon Hosted by Subaru Pacific
On June 2nd 2019 Subaru Pacific hosted the 2nd annual Grades of Green Impact-A-Thon. Over 100 student leaders were recognized who shared their sustainability solutions with the community, local elected officials, and media. Local elementary schools showcased their projects like turning trash into art, taking a school-wide pledge to end the use of plastic water bottles and many other great sustainable solutions. Congratulations to Victor Elementary School VEEEC for winning “Crowd Favorite” and Bryant Ranch Elementary won Most Creative Display. We’d like to thank Manhattan Beach Mayor Nancy Hersman for the rousing workshop on civic engagement and Assemblyman Al Muratsuchi for his Certificate of Recognition presented to the student leaders. Subaru of America also donated $40,424 as part of the Share The Love Program. Learn more about Share The Love and Grades of Green.
