The Destinations

These drives take place in five different locations across the country. The five cities are Boston, Chicago, San Diego, San Francisco and Scottsdale. In each of the locations you will stay at a five star property such as the Four Seasons, the Grand Del Mar, the Mandarin Oriental or the Canyon Suites. Each of the five events lasts approximately a month, the earliest starting in Boston from May 10 through June 7, and the latest in Scottsdale from November 1 through December 13.

The Experience

At each location the people who sign up are treated to a two hour drive in the car of their choosing (from among the three available). While out on the drive there are suggested expert routes to really test out the vehicles. There are also points of interest along the way suggesting the best things to do and enjoy in different cities.

The be eligible for the program you have to book a hotel at the participating location before going out on your drive. If you aren’t from the area this is a great way to enjoy the location while staying comfortably. Each of the hotels are luxurious and worth a visit even without the test drive offer as an incentive.

The Cars

Drivers will have the option of driving one of three different vehicles. The options are the Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid, the 911 Carrera S Cabriolet or the Cayenne GTS. Each is a very high performance vehicle and worth at least taking a look at. For those interested in electric vehicles and what they are truly capable of it may be worth considering the Panamera, a highly-reviewed vehicle.

More information about the program can be found at forbestravelguide.com/Porsche If you have ever been interested in test driving a Porsche this is one of the best ways to do it. Not only do you get to test some of the top level vehicles from the manufacturer, but you get to take them through two hours of rigorous driving and really find out what they are made of. It’s important to remember that you aren’t guaranteed to be able to test out any of the available vehicles. Some locations may not have them all, and you may end up settling with one of the other options than the one you decided on initially.
