Lexus’s NX takes everything great about its big brother the RX and fits it into a trimmer, sportier package. The NX comes equipped with either a turbo charged inline 4 cylinder or electric motor assisted hybrid engine. Half of the RX’s 8 trim levels and all of its hybrid variants offer AWD.

The Cayenne’s initial release was an immediate success. It drew design cues from the iconic 911 as well as that car’s incredible engineering. In 2020 Porsche offers multiple trim levels of the Cayenne. All are thrilling to drive with the the base turbocharged V6 putting out 335HP, while the twin-turbo V8 hybrid puts out an ice melting 671 HP and a
top speed north of 183. Just remember to get it down to 35 when entering Lone Pine.

The Outback has enjoyed a 25 year history as one of Subaru’s iconic vehicles. 2020’s exterior redesign slightly updates the latest iteration of the Outback. Inside, the Outback’s cabin has undergone an upgrade as well with new, more luxurious materials. An optional wifi hotspot an 11-inch, vertically-oriented monitor are also available as part of the Touring trim level.

Underneath, the Outback has asymmetrical 4 wheel drive as standard equipment but also Active Torque Vectoring to distribute wheel power as necessary for the conditions. For 2020 Honda offers an updated Pilot, still one of the best values for SUV drivers. Honda’s reliable V6 provides plenty of power its 9-speed automatic transmission and optional AWD gives the Pilot a smooth, stable ride. It can seat up to 8 or be configured with heated second row captain’s chairs to rest those aching bodies after a long day on the slopes. All three trim levels of the Q5 are powered by a 252 hp turbocharged 4- cylinder engine, seven speed automatic transmission and Quattro all wheel drive. The Highlander is redesigned for 2020. All models now receive a 3.5-liter V6 as standard on gas models. Hybrids have a 2.7-liter inline 4 coupled to its electric motor. There are 4 hybrid and 4 gas trim levels, with the “Platinum” editions of each topping out at 42k and 46k respectively.
