School Garden Project Prospers Through Difficult Summer

September 2012 Helen Bernstein School garden is blooming!   Lots of red, yellow and green peppers, corn stalks and strawberries.  The sunflowers took off like giants!  They are a remarkably tough as they grow in full sun and in any kind of soil.  Upcoming — during the the cool Fall weather, the best crops for the Garden Club to plant are:
