LAcarGUY is proud to support Heal the Bay and its mission to protect the coastline, waterways, and marine environments that are such an important part of Southern California. Environmental responsibility has long been a priority for the LAcarGUY Family of Dealerships, and supporting cleaner beaches and healthier oceans is a natural extension of that commitment. Through our relationship with Heal the Bay, we help encourage environmental awareness, community involvement, and responsible stewardship of the natural resources that make Los Angeles a special place to live and work.
LAcarGUY & Heal the Bay
Mike Sullivan has served on the Heal the Bay board for over 15 years and LAcarGUY sponsors the annual Bring Back the Beach Gala, the Beach Report Card and participates in the annual coastal cleanup. As a group LAcarGUY prides itself in having a large volunteer presence for the coastal clean-up day and encourages competition within each dealership for the biggest turn out. This event always serves as an educational tool for the employees and the kids that participate on how to keep our beaches and oceans clean and safe. At the annual Bring Back the Beach Gala, Toyota Santa Monica donates a hybrid or plug-in vehicle and the event proceeds go towards funding Heal the Bay programs throughout the year.
What's Heal the Bay's mission?
Heal the Bay is an environmental nonprofit dedicated to making the coastal waters and watersheds of Greater Los Angeles safe, healthy and clean. To fulfill our mission, we use science, education, community action and advocacy.
