The LAcarGUY family of dealerships has been a Los Angeles fixture since "Sully" Sullivan opened his first dealership, Volkswagen Santa Monica in 1973. Today, LAcarGUY includes 13 award-winning dealerships throughout Los Angeles. In addition to our focus on outstanding customer service and community involvement, LAcarGUY also prides itself in being a leader in both Hybrid/EV sales and dealership sustainability.
Community involvement and sustainability have always been a priority at LAcarGUY. Giving back to the communities we serve is an important part of the LAcarGUY culture, whether its supporting a great cause via sponsorship or activating our 900+ employees for volunteer opportunities.
As one of the top hybrid/EV dealers in the world, we are committed to a greener future in an environmentally challenged industry. LAcarGUY is active in a number of local environmental programs and owner Mike Sullivan currently serves on the boards of Heal The Bay and the Environmental Media Association (EMA). In 2010, we hired a Manager of the Environment, charged with creating an internal "Green Team" and making sure we "walk the talk" both internally and externally.
