Manhattan Beach Holiday Fireworks Sponsorship
Celebrating the Holidays with the Manhattan Beach Community
LAcarGUY is proud to support the Manhattan Beach Holiday Fireworks and the local traditions that bring our South Bay communities together. This annual celebration gives families, residents, and local businesses an opportunity to gather and celebrate the holiday season in the heart of Manhattan Beach. Supporting community events like the Holiday Fireworks reflects LAcarGUY's commitment to strengthening local connections and giving back to the Southern California communities that have supported our family of dealerships for decades.

We can thank the late great Pete Moffett for sparking this spectacular hometown tradition. Back in 1989, Pete and his wife Gwen, realized Manhattan Beach was missing a true community celebration during the holidays - something that brought local businesses and residents together. Their idea was bold: fireworks in December instead of July, to kick off the holiday season and thank the community for supporting local shops and restaurants. With the help of the city and fire department, the event has been a family-friendly community event ever since. Though Pete Moffett passed away in 2023 at age 75, his vision live on. His son Tom and brother-in-law Denny Greenler carried the torch before entrusting its care to the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce.
