Honda Ridgeline
Solid Performer

For a true work truck that drives like a car, the 2026 Honda Ridgeline combines refined engineering and dependable usability. Offering a technically sophisticated alternative to the traditional body-on-frame configuration of midsize pickups, the Ridgeline is built on a unibody platform shared with Honda SUVs in order to prioritize on-road comfort, stable handling, and versatility.

Every model is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 engine producing 280 horsepower, paired with a smooth-shifting nine-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. The powertrain delivers responsive acceleration, reaching 60 mph in approximately 6.0 seconds, making it quicker than some four-cylinder competitors.

Honda replaced the Ridgeline's standard solid rear axel used by most pickups with an independent rear suspension with coil springs, significantly improving ride quality, steering precision, and handling while reducing road noise and vibration. Although maximum towing capacity is limited to 5,000 pounds, the Ridgeline offers a generous 1,583-pound payload capacity for hauling materials and equipment.

Toyota Tundra
This Beast is a Beauty

The 2026 Toyota Tundra is a legit full-size pick up that has taken great care to soften its edges and provide true comfort for drivers.

Maximum towing capacity reaches 12,000 pounds when properly equipped, and payload tops out at 1,940 pounds, more than adequate for all but the most extreme work uses.
